Chronic insomnia - Why Can not I Sleep?

Chronic insomnia, or a long-term patterns of insomnia may be a result of many factors and is only rarely by a factor. Monday 15 June 2009 - Work day (not uncommon)
3 - still in bed but awake - worried about how tired I am at 6
5 - get up in bed, but decided too late to try and sleep - and have a shower, dress and breakfast.
Meals: Breakfast - cereal and coffee 5.30, snack - coffee and pastries at10 clock, lunch - tuna sandwich, yogurt, snack - muffins and coffee - 3pm, dinner - steak and salad - 7pm, snack - banana 9.30pm
Drinks: 1 glass of water - 10, 3 cups of coffee, 2 glasses of wine at 7-9pm
Weather - 22 degrees and comfortable day
Physical activity - walking up and down work station - 3 blocks per round at 7.30 clock and 5pm
Emotions - nothing eventful - quiet, but physically tired
Drugs - 2 x Panadol at 7.30 clock, 3pm and 7pm for daythrobbing headache
Physical condition - low level throughout the day headaches, sore neck and back, a little relieved by paracetamol.
Home routine - dinner 7pm, TV-8-10pm, shower 10pm, bed 11pm

Repeat this process for at least 14 days and see if you can identify a routine or lack of routine.
